Brandon T. Jackson of the “Percy Jackson” franchise, took time out to chat with Arthur Kade on Spreecast about “Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters”. Bandon has appeared in a array of movies including “Tropic Thunder”, “Roll Bounce”, and “Big Momma’s: Like Father Like Son”. Jackson, who reprises his role as Grover, half man, half goat, from “Percy Jackson & Olympians: The Lightning Thief”, says that he was excited to see that the current film, “Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters” recieved a 97% on RottenTomatoes.com Brandon says that the hardest scene was when they filmed a fight in a Six Flags in New Orleans, which had just been hit by a Hurricane and was infested with swamp anmimals. Brandon also talks about networks passing on the television pilot for “Beverly Hills Cop”, where he would play Eddie Murphy’s son. He says that a script is being worked on for a movie and he hopes he will get to star in it. Brandon also tells us about transitioning from child stand up comedian to adult stand up comedian, he says what really changed was the material because as he grew, he had more life experience to talk about.
