“The Young & the Restless” alums Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio are ready to show the world how bright their light truly shines. These 7 year-old identical twins are spreading their incredibly inspiring and powerful anti-bullying message in their recently released single, “Let Your Light Shine.” Written by Nick Pellegrino and produced by hit-maker John Ryan (One Direction, Cody Simpson, J-Lo), “Let Your Light Shine” is currently available on iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/let-your-light-shine-single/id552406275) and the highly anticipated music video has just been released (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saEGDSLAv00). Having already appeared in music videos for Bon Jovi (“What Do You Got”) and “American Idol” alum Crystal Bowersox’s (“Farmer’s Daughter”), Bianca and Chiara are now starring in their own with the help of some of their other pint-sized celebrity friends, including: Chloe Noelle (“True Blood”), Layla Crawford (“The First Family” and “NCIS Los Angeles”) and Samantha Bailey, who played “Summer Newman” on CBS’ “Young and the Restless,” a role originated by the twins when they were toddlers. With all their efforts to put an end to bullying worldwide, Bianca and Chiara were recently named “Tween Ambassadors” for Boo2Bullying.org, which features artists who are awakening the world of hate and intolerance, and encouraging other youth to speak out and dig deeper within.

The purpose and mission of their project is to go head-to-head with bullies. In addition to the release of “Let Your Light Shine,” Bianca and Chiara have also designed an anti-bullying T-shirt and pledged a portion of the proceeds from the sales of both to the Seth Walsh Foundation. The Seth Walsh Foundation is an organization devoted to eliminate bullying through national education and advocacy. Their mission is to ensure that all youth are safe and protected from bullying, and to prevent tragedies that can result from bullying, harassment, and discriminatory conduct. The organization was founded by Wendy Walsh, who lost her 13 year-old son, Seth, to bullycide in September 2010 after years of being victimized at school by bullies. Following his passing, Wendy filed a complaint with the Department of Education in a landmark case that is set for trial next year. She has emerged as one of the most powerful voices in the anti-bullying movement.

Born just two minutes before her twin sister, Bianca often assumes the role of the “big sister,” and loves to take charge. Her sense of responsibility and quick-wittedness make Bianca mature for her young age. After working closely with a female director on a recent project, Bianca has found her calling, and one day dreams of being behind the camera, as a director herself. The younger of the twins, Chiara, is much more of a jokester and a free-spirit. She loves to channel her innate creativity into fashion and styling outfits for her and her sister.

Hailing from Santa Monica, Calif., 7-year-old twins Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio broke into show business at 2-and-half-years-old, and haven’t looked back since. Since their break-out performances on “The Young and the Restless” (CBS), the girls have been featured in several commercials and popular music videos including Bon Jovi’s “What Do You Want” and “American Idol” alum Crystal Bowersox’s hit music video for her 2010 hit single, “Farmer’s Daughter”. More recently Chiara and Bianca have appeared in NBC’s smash comedy hit “Parks and Recreation”.

Since beginning their acting career as the on-screen daughter to Michelle Stafford and Joshua Morrow on the long running CBS daytime drama series, “The Young and the Restless”, Bianca and Chiara have aquired an impressive resumé of credits—making guest appearances on shows such as “The Closer” (TNT), “Parks and Recreation” (NBC), and “Close to Home” (CBS). Keeping busy, Bianca and Chiara also appeared on the NBC pilot entitled “Guys With Kids”, starring opposite Sara Rue and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, and have shot numerous commercials and ads for companies such as Subaru, Toms Shoes, and Glittertainment, and will make their film debut in a comedy directed by Will Prescott entitled “Feeding Mr. Baldwin”, which is currently in production. On September 26, 2012, Bianca guest starred on the hit CBS show “Criminal Minds”.

In addition to their on-screen appearances, Bianca and Chiara have recorded their first single with One Direction and Cody Simpson producer, John Ryan, entitled “Let Your Light Shine”. “Let Your Light Shine” sends listeners a positive focus on the anti-bullying campaign. With a music video currently in the works, the twins have also released a tee shirt line to coincide with their new single. A portion of the proceeds earned from all sales of the single and tee shirt will go to benefit The Seth Walsh Foundation (www.sethwalsh.org), a foundation founded on the mission to eliminate bullying through national education and advocacy.
