One of the world’s great fashion designers, Narciso Rodriguez lit the Empire State Building blue and red on Friday, Oct. 11th in a special ceremony to mark the 100th Anniversary of El Diario/La Prensa, the oldest and longest-publishing Spanish-language daily newspaper in the nation.  The newspaper, first published on October 12th, 1913, will mark its centennial with a series of special events and partnerships now through the end of the year, highlighting the publication’s legacy as the dean of Spanish-language journalism in the United States.
