He is one of the most acclaimed, elite, celebrity chefs in Philadelphia history, having manned the Executive Chef and Partner role at the great Brasserie Perrier (Owned also by Georges Perrier, the first and greatest celebrity chef in Philadelphia History, who created one of the finest restaurants in the world, Le Bec Fin) for 17 years, being the opening chef for the Ritz Carlton’s Grill Room where during his four year tenure, the restaurant was named one of the top 25 restaurants in the country by Conde Nast Traveler. and now also co-owning with Georges Perrier one of Philadelphia’s top restaurants, Table 31 (It is located inside of Philadelphia’s most beautiful and tallest building, The Comcast Center, and it received a “3 Bells-Excellent” from Philadelphia’s most well known food critic, Craig Laban of The Philadelphia Inquirer, who called Chef Scarduzio’s Italian dishes “a delight,” and added that “the house-made cavatelli…toothsome orecchiette…and ample crab fettuccine would have done any Italian kitchen proud.”).

From there Chef Scarduzio went on to create his own restaurant, Mia, when he introduced a new style of dining to the up-and-coming Atlantic City market. Opened in 2006 at Caesars Atlantic City, the Mediterranean bistro is named after Scarduzio’s youngest child and only daughter, and almost single-handedly sparked a dining renaissance at the East Coast casino playground. For the first time, Chef Scarduzio had free reign to express his zeal for Mediterranean cuisine, an important aspect of his Italian heritage. It was named Atlantic City’s “Best New Restaurant, 2006” by Philadelphia Magazine, and his next project in Atlantic City, Scarduzio’s, opening later this year is going to be unlike anything the fast growing casino town has ever seen!!

And now in this interview, Chef Scarduzio cooks “The King Of Kamelot”, a personal pasta dish in his kitchen at Table 31 (I can’t even describe how amazing this dish tasted and the smell while cooking was just to die for!) where we discuss everything including: his career from it’s humble beginning to Celebrity status, his Abruzzi Italian heritage while growing up in a row home with with 16 people, The Best Thursday night party in Philadelphia at Table 31, the opening of Scarduzio’s, working with the Legendary Georges Perrier, and and sooo much more (Him explaining the pasta boiler to me is truly a classic moment!)…This was just an amazing interview from one of the most dynamic chefs on the planet, who also has a “Born For TV” personality!! Chris, you can come over anytime!!!!

After this amazing meal/interview, I headed down to Atlantic City for some much needed R&R, where I stayed at the hottest hotel in AC, The Chelsea (It’s like being in Miami when you’re at the pool, called C5, which had a 3,000 person party with so many beautiful people I forgot I was at the Jersey Shore), and partied with celebrity rockers, Joel (Nicole Richie’s husband) and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte who were DJ’ing (To be honest, they were absolutely amazing, and considering the new celebrity fad is DJ’ing and most of them suck, these guys were absolutely killin’ it, and when I told Joel, “I had no expectations coming in, but you guys are Efffinnn sick!!”, and he replied, “We’ve been doing this 10 years, and we just want people to have a great time partying so we do our best.  This club is one of my 3 favorite places to spin out there because people just come here wanting to party!!”), as well as a surprise appearance by fellow music idol and current TV Host, Joey Fatone, formerly of Mega Boy Band, “N’Sync” at one of my favorite clubs on the planet, DUSK.  We had a private party in the DJ Booth with a private security bouncer, and I have never seen girls go crazier trying to climb the glass or get past the security to get into our area to get near all of us!! It was an EPIC night at DUSK, and my legs are still sore from dancing until 4AM..I made friends with The Maddens and Joey, and we talked all night about how bad the LA club scene is right now and good AC and NYC has become, our TV careers, and the world of nightlife and celebrity in general as well as family life.  Here are pics from an amazing time in AC:
