She was already considered one of the funniest women on the planet before her consensus “Break Out” set on Comedy Central’s “Roast Of Charlie Sheen”, and fastest rising Comedy names in the business, having become one of the premier female stand-up comics in the country appearing in the hottest clubs as well as multiple radio networks, while also being the first female comic to perform on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” (Where Ellen was quoted as saying “Amy is one of my favorites, I expect to see big things from this girl.”) and “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”.  She had an amazing run on “Last Comic Standing”, becoming a finalist, that helped propel her into the eyes of millions and has just released Cutting, on Comedy Central Records which follows her spring 2010 Comedy Central Presents stand up special. She also just filmed a movie that will be coming out early next year with the comedy genius himself, Emmy award winning star of “The Office”, Steve Carell, called “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World”. In the TV world, she has nabbed a recurring role in the upcoming season of Adult Swim’s mocumentary series “Delocated” as well as a spot on HBO’sCurb Your Enthusiasm.” She is also playing opposite Parker Posey in indie flick Price Check. And if she wasn’t already busy enough, she also dates possibly the most up and coming male stand-up comic on the circuit, Anthony Jeselnik, who is a rising star himself, and who was also one of the hilarious roasters in the absolutely brutal Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen.

And speaking of the Charlie Sheen Roast on Comedy Central (Which by the way was the highest rated roast of all time for the network drawing a record 8 million viewers to watch, and the one that Kade Nation will remember I was on the red carpet a few weeks ago interviewing many of the celebrities in attendance including Kristin Cavallari, Dog The Bounty Hunter, Michael Boatman, Corbin Bernsen, Patrice O’Neal, and Ron Jeremy!), it also turns out that Amy Schumer (After watching this interview you will know why I just love referring to her by both names!) ended up being the consensus break out star with the funniest and most brutal set of any of the roasters that has catapulted her to mainstream fame, and the “Joke heard round’ the world” that was directed at Jackass’ Steve-O which referenced the death of Ryan Dunn, that made international headlines due to some people feeling it may have been a little too inappropriate and over the top (We discuss this extensively in the interview and you will see both of our opinions).  Here, “The King Of Kamelot” sits down for an intimate and hilarious interview with a comedy genius (Who was an absolute sweetheart by the way, and has one of the funniest, wittiest, sexiest, and coolest personalities you will ever meet!) to talk about her career, the “Roast Of All Roasts”, her relationship with fellow comedy up and comer Jeselnik, Why God doesn’t care if you curse, and of course her thoughts on “The Joke”….Enjoy Kade Nation, she is one of the fastest and brightest stars in comedy about to go A-List!!
