Dave Mason is considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time, having helped found one of the great Rock Bands in history, “Traffic”, and Mason has played and recorded with many of the era’s most notable rock musicians, including Jimi Hendrix (Who he played acoustic guitar with on “All Along The Watchtower”), Delaney Bramlett, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Fleetwood Mac and Cass Elliot. Mason’s best known song is “Feelin’ Alright“, recorded by Traffic in 1968 and later by many other performers, including Joe Cocker, who had a major hit with the song in 1969. For Traffic, he also wrote “Hole in My Shoe“, a psychedelic pop song that became a hit in its own right. “We Just Disagree“, Mason’s 1977 solo hit written by Jim Krueger, has become a staple of Classic Hits and Adult Contemporary radio playlists and his album “Alone Together” is considered a rock classic. There are few musicians that are as highly respected, as highly accomplished, and who have stood the test of time for 5 (Yes I said 5!!) decades making incredible music, and in 2004, Dave was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and he played “Feelin Alright” with an all star cast including Tom Petty, ZZ Top, and others playing beside him!! One of the great careers in Rock and Roll History!!
