They are the kings of the Philly morning airwaves, an institution unlike any other program over the last decade, consistently coming in #1 in ratings (#4 in the country!!), awards, and pretty much any other category that is known to measure a radio show and have owned the mornings in this city ever since the departure of Howard Stern!   The show has been named the “Best Morning Show” by Philadelphia Style magazine, and “Personality/Show of the Year” in the active rock category by Radio & Records trade magazine. Before switching to WMMR, the show won various Philadelphia A.I.R. Awards, including the “Best Weekday Morning Team” award for 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2005, and was voted best local morning show in the country in FMQB’s Year End Leaders Poll for 2004 and 2005 in two different formats. They have consistently maintained the most creative and edgy format of any programming in the city, while featuring the highest profile guests, the hottest girls, and even special guest appearances from just about every Philebrity in the city!  And even with all of this success, they were the coolest guys off camera who couldn’t have been funnier, more down to Earth, and humble about it everything they have achieved essentially redefining radio in this city for years to come!!

Here, Steve Morrison and Preston Elliot sit down in their absolutely gorgeous 1,800 foot studio in Bala Cynwyd, with “The King Of Kamelot”, for an intimate look behind the scenes at their lives and professions, and we discuss everything including: How they rose to the number 1 radio show in Philadelphia, how they have maintained such a successful partnership for 14 years and the enormous value and appreciation they have for the team around them, what it’s like to work with and feature some of the hottest girls on the planet, who their favorite guests have been (The answers may surprise you), and what they want to accomplish in the future.  It’s truly amazing to see their different personalities shine through in this interview, and it was one of the most enjoyable for me, because not only did they answer my questions like seasoned pros with tremendous honesty and conviction while demonstrating how much they truly love what they do, but just to sit in studio with them and watch them conduct the show at such a fast pace while maintaining such a high level of creativity, humor, and wit was just an amazing learning experience!  A special thank you to their awesome producer, Marisa Magnatta, who put this interview together!! I promise to find you some hotties for this year’s calendar :). Enjoy, Kade Nation!
