To be the best in the world at anything is an amazing accomplishment, but to be possibly the “Greatest Of All Time” is truly legendary, and when you are talking about “Eating Food”, then the Michael Jordan of that sport is the one and only Takeru Kobayashi!  He has become world famous by setting the world record for hot dog eating for nearly six years at the famous Nathan’s contest in Coney Island (This led to International Press and worldwide fame for Kobayashi who is now pretty much only known by his last name with millions around the world!), and holds several other eating records, including four Guinness Records for hot dogs, meatballs, Twinkies, hamburgers, and pasta.  He has become an icon in Japan, and in the United States he is an absolute rock star who is constantly mobbed by fans anywhere he goes, and whether appearing on SportsCenter or The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, everyone in this country knows about the man I have become friends with whom I call “Kobi”.  Takeru Kobayashi did for the sport of Competitive Food Eating what Tiger Woods has done for the sport of Golf, take it mainstream and into a new stratosphere!!

Here “The King Of Kamelot” sits down for a private intimate interview with the One and Only “Best Eater in the World” before his record setting 337 wing eating performance (The old record was 255 and Kobi felt like he had an “Off Day” and he then donated a piece of his $20,000 winnings to a wonderful charity “Philabundance”) in front of 20,000 people at the famous WIP Philadelphia “Wing Bowl” to discuss his already legendary celebrity “Rock Star” status, what Eating means to him, how he trains his body to absorb sooo much food and sooo fast leading him to become the best of all time, why he’s really a “Foodie” and takes pictures of everything he eats, what sooooo much more!  I also had the chance to spend the day with him in his locker room and club box at Wing Bowl with his Entourage and team including the “Greatest Flyer Of All Time” Bernie Parent and Chessesteak King Tony Luke Jr, and really become friends with him and all I can tell you that he is one of the nicest, most humble, coolest cats that you will ever meet, and is about the best type of ambassador that you can have for any sport..Kobi, you are the mac daddy!! Congrats and Kade Nation is going to love this!!
