She is one of the hottest young R&B singers in the world right now, having released her debut album “Late Nights and Early Mornings” to a #2 position on the Billboard Charts, and reaching #1 on the Billboard R&B charts, solidifying Marsha Ambrosius as one of the major forces and voices in music, and leading to people comparing her to Jill Scott, Mariah Carey, and even Whitney Houston.  At the BET Awards, she was nominated for “Best Female R&B Artist” losing out to the ultimate powerhouse right now, Rihanna, but did take home the “Centric Award” for her hit song (One of my favorites because it is so real, sexy, romantic and genuine, which is the staple to her lyrics and music) “Far Away”, and was even asked to personally sing and introduce the “Queen Diva” of Soul herself, Patti Labelle, as she received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” this year (Listen to the interview below to see the excitement and appreciation she shows for the amazing opportunity!), and just concluded a sold out major arena tour with the iconic R. Kelly and fellow R&B star Keyshia Cole.  Marsha is also an accomplished song writer and been featured on songs with the biggest stars in music from Nas to Wale to The Game to even Earth, Wind, and Fire, and before her amazing solo success was part of “Floetry” which helped people and industry insiders see the enormous talent and powerhouse voice that she possesses getting her eventually signed by J Records (RCA) alongside superstars like Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx, Leona Lewis, Mike Posner, Pitbull, and Monica.  She is now heading out on another sold out tour called “Rising Icons” with one of the hottest names in music right now, Miguel, and just released an amazing mix-tape aptly named “Later Nights and Earlier Mornings” (Watch the interview to see why!).

Here “The King Of Kamelot” sits down with one of the hottest names in music to discuss the amazing success of “Late Nights and Early Morning”, the release of her new Mixtape, what it was like to be taken under the wing of one of the greats of all time in Patti Labelle,  the meteoric rise of her career, collaborating with “The King Of Pop” himself, and soo much more!!  On a personal note, in a business where female singers become divas overnight, Marsha, despite all her success, couldn’t be a sweeter, more humble, and down to Earth woman.  It’s so obvious how appreciative she is of her career, and the journey she is on, and how blessed she has been.  So refreshing to see such a music powerhouse who “Gets It”, and understands never losing who you are in the process..Kade nation is going to love this interview!!

I also was able to interview the hottest Boy Band in the country right now as a correspondent for Pop Culture Madness, Mindless Behavior, who’s new album “#1 Girl” just debuted top 10 on the Billboard charts, and they are having the same type of meteoric rise that Justin Bieber had.  It was crazy to even see the 4,000 girls screaming in line, with several crying and even passing out requiring security to intervene!  They are being already compared to iconic groups like New Edition, The Jackson 5, New Edition, N’Sync, and B2K.  The group is comprised of four spirited 13 year old boys – Prodigy, Roc Royal, Ray Ray and Princeton that employ an insane sleek and futuristic fashion style, epic dance moves, and global-ready pop songs which got them quickly signed by Interscope Records and the legendary Jimmy Iovine himself.  They are the Justin Bieber of boy bands and couldn’t have been sweeter kids who all came up shook hands and even hugged me and my team after the interview.  Getting 2 minutes with them was like getting to the President because they couldn’t even breathe without 500 girls storming a hallway or going nuts!!

And I also ran into at the Mindless Behavior Concert, one of the coolest men on the planet, Mr. Charlie Mack, who was with one of his artists, Yung Poppa, who was opening up for them, and who is about to mega-blow up himself!!  Be on the look out for Yung Poppa Kade Nation!!
