Tony Lucca is an “Overnight Success” that was 20 years in the making because while much of America has learned about his absolutely incredible voice and remarkable story through this season of NBC’s Number 1 Show “The Voice”, Lucca has been a growing recording artist since he was a teenager.  Anyone who watched his audition saw that it was possibly the best in the show’s history with all 4 judges selecting him and giving him a standing ovation, with him choosing to go with last year’s winner Adam Levine’s “Team Adam”, leading to appearances on The Today Show, Access Hollywood, sold out concerts this week in NYC (Sara Bareilles actually came to one of the shows and got on stage with Tony to sing and tell him how much of a fan she was), and making him the darling of America right now.  Tony was a member of the ultra-popular “Mickey Mouse Club” alongside current mega-stars Christina Aguilera (This was one of the sub-plots on the show of his audition of whether she would or wouldn’t remember him, which she eventually did!), Britney Spears (Who had a crush on him back then!), Justin Timberlake, and JC Chasez, and is a signed recording artist with Rock Ridge Music (Chris Henderson From 3 Doors Down owned Label whom Kade Nation will remember I interviewed, along with co-founders and record execs Jason Spiewak and Tom Derr) who’s latest album “Under The Influence” is absolutely amazing and has received critical acclaim. Go to to check out all the latest for this budding superstar..

Tony’s songs have been featured on TV’s “Friday Night Lights,” “Brothers & Sisters,” “Shark,” and “Felicity” (I’m jealous because he he dated Keri Russell) and in Kevin Costner’s feature “Open Range.” He has been seen on E! Entertainment Television and A&E, and performed numerous times on NBC’s “Last Call With Carson Daly.”  In 2011, he appeared as himself on NBC’s “Parenthood” performing his song “Like Love.”  Lucca was also tapped to appear in friend Justin Timberlake’s 901 tequila commercial spot.  Over the course of his career, Lucca has shared stages with *Nsync, Marc Anthony, Macy Gray, Johnny Lang, the late Chris Whitley, Sara Bareilles, and Tyrone Wells.  Lucca has also completed several cooperative tours with Jay Nash and Matt Duke (which resulted in “TFDI,” a collaborative EP recorded at SPACE in Evanston, Illinois, and released by Rykodisc in late 2009, and “When I Stop Running,” a full-length album by the trio that was released by Rock Ridge Music in the summer of 2011).

Here “The King Of Kamelot” sits down with “The Voice’s” breakout star to talk about his break out moment 20 years in the making, what it was like wondering if Christina Aguilera would remember him on the show, the surrealness of this week of being on The Today Show and having Sara Bareilles get on stage and sing with him, why he went Team Adam on the show, and soo much more including a live performance for Kade Nation!!  Tony is one of the nicest and most talented guys you will ever meet, and I know that I will be cheering him on to win the whole thing!! #TeamAdam!
