Most people will remember Janet Varney as the longtime super fun host of TBS’ always entertaining “Dinner And A Movie” (I used to LOVE it!), but now she has moved on to bigger and better things.  First, she is the voice of Korra, star of the incredibly popular Nickelodeon show “The Legend Of Korra” derived from the Avatar series (i.e. The Last Airbender), she has an ultra popular and awesome new podcast focusing on women which is a part of the Nerdist Network called the jv club where she gets to interview some pretty amazing peopleJanet says of the jv club, “I want to feature intelligent, complicated, thoughtful women who recognize that life is messy and that we do the best we can to create meaningful paths for ourselves, mistakes and all.”  And she is also a host on Huff Post Live, the Huffington Post’s Live Broadcast Platform.

Here “The King Of Kamelot” chats with the super funny and talented Janet Varney via Spreecast from LA to talk about TBS’ Dinner And A Movie, my crush on her when she hosted it, being the voice of Korra and being part of such a popular children’s franchise, her first experience as a participant at Comic-Con, her duties with Huff Post Live, and we even compare notes on so many of the wonderful people we have been blessed to sit and chat with.  Janet is one of the brightest faces in the entertainment business, so make sure to catch her on all of her platforms!
