How much better does it get then to see a gorgeous mother of four, who in her 40’s, is lighting up the UK Dance charts with 4 straight top 10 singles, including her latest “Live It Up” with one of the world’s top hip hop stars, Snoop Dogg (It was #2 on the charts right behind Katy Perry’s “Friday Night”), and now as she crosses over stateside, Stacey Jackson is primed to have the same type of impact over here while sharing her unique story that it’s never too late to pursue your dream!! Stacey has such a great demeanor towards her goals saying ““I was fortunate to have my kids at a younger age, and always knew I wanted to have a career in my prime, as well. Hey, they say the 40s are the new 30s. The mom the wife, the music and performing are all cumulative to make a whole Stacey. And I feel like I’m inspiring my own children in the process.” And now, Jackson is ready to rally North America with new single “Is This Love,” a dance floor reworking of Whitesnake’s 1987 No. 2 rock power ballad. She will support the release of accompanying six-track EP “Live It Up” on indie label 3B1G Records with a cross-country promotional tour in November that includes initial stops in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Stacey says: “Now that I’ve established somewhat of a profile in the U.K., I’m eager to return to North America and show them what I’ve got,” she says. “And what better way than with this great song that people are familiar with, which meant a lot to me growing up as a fan of Mötley Crüe, Guns N’ Roses and of course Whitesnake—with my big ‘80’s hair.” I think it’s easy to see that there is no stopping this “Mother By Day, Rocker By Night” from having the same type of success in the US as she has had in the UK, and doing it with a message that it’s never too late to go after your dream!!
Here “The King Of Kamelot” sits down with the UK’s reigning Dance Queen as she completes her sold out US Tour in NYC after just performing at Miami’s famed Winter Music Conference (She also presented at the IDMA’s as well!) to talk about her ultra inspiring and incredible journey to the top of the UK Charts, what it’s like being a mother of four while making dance music that millions shake their body to, what it was like working with one of music’s greatest hip hop stars in Snoop Dogg, her crossover to the US, and sooo much more!! You can’t help but meet Stacey and walk away inspired not just because of her incredible success, but her passion to share with the world that if you have a dream, then go for it at all costs and at any time and never look back!! I absolutely loved her!! Enjoy Kade Nation!!
