Geoff Tate is one of hard rock’s great front men, as the founder and lead singer of the iconic Queensrÿche, as well as a Kade Nation friend. Tate is ranked fourteenth on Hit Parader’s list of the 100 Greatest Metal Vocalists of All Time. He was voted #2 on That Metal Show‘s top 5 metal vocalists of all time. He was also voted the #1 greatest metal singer of all time by ragerecords.net. As a performer, few have as recognizable a voice as Geoff, and now with the release of his second solo album “Kings And Thieves”, before he heads out on a massive tour with Queensrÿche, Geoff wants to give his adoring fans a taste of his music away from the band.
Here “The King Of Kamelot” sits down with the iconic Geoff Tate in NYC on the first day of his tour for “Kings and Thieves” to talk about the new album, the message behind it’s first single “Dark Money”, his continuing love for making wine, what inspired him with this album, and sooo much more!! Geoff is always a class act, and one of rock’s great talents, so we wish him the best as always!
