He is considered one of the funniest men on the planet with a one hour (Yes I said one hour!!) comedy special airing this Saturday on Comedy Central called “Black By Accident” (When a major cable network gives you an hour to yourself like this, you’re about to go to Dave Chappelle level), which was filmed to a sold out and standing room only audience at the Gramercy Theater in NYC, and has long been considered one of the best and most talented stand up comics and actors in the country.  He has appeared in great movies and on countless TV Shows on BET, VH1, Comedy Central, and feature films such as Soul Plane, Original Gangstas, and Zoolander (I mean he seriously had one of the great scenes in movie history playing a “Black Zoolander” that is one of the great cult characters in film history!). This season he has a recurring role on one of the funniest shows on television, “Louis”, starring the amazing Louis CK, and after the Comedy Central special, will be in more demand then ever before catapulting him to the top of the comedy ladder.  He is a true comic genius who’s one of the most respected and sought after comic minds in the business as you will see in the video below, and after spending an hour with him on a personal level, I can also tell Kade Nation that he’s one of the most gracious, humble, awesomely cool dudes you will ever get to know (We talked for 45 minutes after the interview, and it’s just awesome to see someone who is so00 talented and respected by so many big names in entertainment stay so grounded) who worked his way up the comedy ladder playing at the legendary clubs like Caroline’s and The Comedy Cellar in NYC, and is now on the precipice of crossing over to superstardom.  I can’t wait to watch his special this Saturday called “Godfrey: Black By Accident”” because it’s gonna be crazy and make sure to stop by Helium Comedy Club where he’s performing through Saturday and see his ridic stand-up..
