So, since I made it back alive from the 48 Hours Festival in Las Vegas, I’ve started editing all my insane footage to post for you guys. Until then, I figured I’d pull in interview out of the vault that I’ve been saving. Over the summer, I covered the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival and I got a chance to sit down with Megadeth drummer Shawn Drover. Godfathers of heavy metal and one of the founders of Thrash, Megadeth has sold over 30 million albums, and 5 albums have gone Top 10 on the Billboard Top 100. At the time, Megadeth we’re putting the finishing touches on their 13th studio album, appropriately titled, Th1rt3en. The album drops November 1st on Roadrunner Records (big shout-out to all my friends at RR)! Shawn has been the drummer for Megadeth for almost 7 years. He and I chatted about the Mayhem tour, what to expect on the new record…and some other cool stuff! CRANK IT UP!
